Specializing in Gravity Feed and Pressure, a wide range of services are offered to public and private contractors.

In 2021 we awarded a major Contract to Sanpik for the installation of approximately 1,100 linear feet of 30” HDPE pipe and 550 linear feet of 24” HDPE pipe along the Airport Connector Road and the existing MRCU canal near the George Town Landfill. This was a challenging project which involved connecting new sewer force main pipes to the existing and fully operational 24” Water Authority’s sewer force main. The coordination of the works required the contractor to work closely together with the Water Authority to ensure wastewater service to the Authority’s customers was not interrupted, nor was any wastewater discharged or spilled which would have caused environmental issues and hazards. Sanpik used unique dewatering techniques to ensure a safe work environment. It also was able to employ strategic project organizational skills and timeline to ensure wastewater services were always available as well as ensuring that no wastewater was spilled during the very complex switch to the new system.

We have Sanpik to be very knowledgeable in the area of underground utilities and it has the equipment available to ensure projects are run safely and efficiently.

We have used Sanpik for many works repairing wastewater infrastructure on Grand Cayman. A few of the project have been:

• 4,300 feet of 24” HDPE pipe between the wastewater pump station and West Bay Road
• 3,000 fee of 12” and 3,000 feet of 16” HDPE pipe along the Esterly Tibbets Highway
• 800 fee of 6” HDPE pipe from Watler’s drive to Helen Drive
• 800 fee of 6” HDPE pipe from Watler’s drive to Helen Drive

Sanpik has successfully managed these activities well, even though they were carried out under very difficult circumstances, which required significant dewatering efforts and organizational skills.

We have always found Sanpik to be knowledgeable of underground utilities and we have no reservations in employing Sanpik for our works in the future.
