Scope

The first manhole was in the traffic lane of the road, extensive traffic control was set up to divert the traffic into the center and west lane. The project was planned well in advance with multiple back up plans to manage the sewer flow bypass pumping system including pumps, pass thru plugs, road ramps and bypass hose. The ground water dewatering system was critical planning, drilling two deep wells for dewatering discharge, Two separate system with individual diesel eight-inch pumps with one back up pump. The ground water was managed with two pumps and the thrid pump operated as needed. The first manhole had a lathe eight-inch hole in the side the size of basketball, the existing manholes were removed and new argu lined manholes installed, backfilled, and compacted and surface reinstatement completed.
